DC Current Shunts
The shunts are manufactured from the alloy manganin, which has a near-zero temperature coefficient and is extremely stable over time. The shunts are carefully constructed to exhibit constant resistance throughout to eliminate any possibility of hot spots. They come in single and dual leaf models depending on the rated current, and are mounted on rugged phenolic blocks. Some models have the instrument leads fused. |
