G199-105 Fuel Strainer
The G199-105 fuel strainer filters out contaminants such as particulate matter from the fuel line. Contaminants accumulate in the bowl and are easy to identify. Cloudiness in the fuel indicates that there is water in the system and can also be detected. The strainer can be drained through a petcock to purge the fuel line of water. A bypass valve allows continued flow even when the filtering screen is clogged, a handy feature in an emergency. |
