4000B-series Standard Directional Gyroscopes
The standard configuration can replace most air-driven gyros with the major difference being in the layout and colors of the display. It is a 3" instrument, constructed upon a rigid, cast-aluminum frame that houses a precisely machined brass rotor, which is suspended on high-quality, long-lasting bearings. There are many upgrade options and features available. |

4000C/D-series Autopilot Directional Gyroscopes
This gyro is based on the same rigid, cast-aluminum frame and precisely machined brass rotor as our standard 4000B model. The autopilot directional gyros are FAA - PMA approved for use in the Century (CFS) CII, CIIB, CIII, and CIV. They are also compatible with Allied Signal - King autopilot installations. |
|
4000H-series Bootstrap Directional Gyroscopes
Bootstrap models provide a heading synchro output for heading stabilization applications such as stormscopes, moving maps, and RMIs. This model also may have a "heading reminder" bug to lighten pilot workload. |
|
4000HR-series Heading Reference Directional Gyroscopes
All of the reliability and precision of our standard model with the addition of a "heading reminder" bug previously found only on autopilot gyros. It reduces pilot workload and enhances safety. It is a feature that owners of light general aviation aircraft find to be a very useful upgrade. |
|
4000B ARINC-style Directional Gyroscopes
Except for its ARINC styling, this model is identical to our standard model possessing all of its precision and reliability. An ARINC style bezel, display graphics and colors differentiate it from our other models. A "heading reminder" bug helps reduce pilot workload in the cockpit. |
